Introducing the Useful and Reliable Online Benefits Tools You've Been Waiting For
We are now in the final stages of developing BenefitManager™, a co-branded suite of user-friendly online products, based on a robust technology platform. BenefitManager™ is designed to meet the varying needs of our clients: from a secure portal for access by the HR staff only, to a company-wide intranet, to online enrollment functionality.



Deloitte & Touche's survey of 600 U.S. benefits managers conducted this year found that "the number two priority in benefits strategy in 2002 (after managing costs) is to use Internet/Intranet applications and employee self-service technologies." Over the past two years, we have witnessed the emergence (and disappearance) of multiple vendors in this space, trying to offer valuable online solutions to employers.

Useful and reliable online tools can have a major impact on the value of a benefits package and the cost and effectiveness of benefits administration. This is why BenefitPort has long been engaged in careful research and testing of the various vendors and technologies available in the market place. Our goal has been to bring to our clients the most accomplished and viable solutions. As a result of our research, we are now in the final stages of developing BenefitManager, a co-branded suite of user-friendly online products, based on a robust technology platform. BenefitManager is designed to meet the varying needs of our clients: from a secure portal for access by the HR staff only, to a company-wide intranet, to online enrollment functionality.

On April 30, we held a client focus group meeting at our offices, in which a number of you graciously agreed to participate. The focus group members reviewed our online tools and provided invaluable feedback regarding the application of these tools at their organizations. We are now piloting the various configurations of BenefitManager (including HR administration portal and online enrollment) with ten companies, including our own.
